Homemade
Cream Cheese

Using two ingredients to make cream cheese 
at home.
Cream cheese can make many kind of 

desserts and foods, 
even it's just with bread, it's very delicious.



Ingredients


 Whole milk   1000ml
Lemon juice or white vinegar   45ml 
Salt  1/2 teaspoon ( free to add more or less) optional

Cheesecloth 


In the saucepan, heat the milk on med-high.
Keep stirring until it starts to roll

When the milk starts to roll, 
turn the heat to medium,
and add lemon juice little by little at a time, 
and  Keep stirring ....

* Also can add white vinegar to instead lemon juice *


Keep cooking until the mixture curdles.
 

Keep stir until the mixture has separated completely,
 it  will take about few  minutes.


Pour the curd mix into the sieve with cheesecloth
Let it strains for about 30 minutes.


Add salt and use a hand mixer to 
make the curd into smooth and creamy

* Salt (free to add more or less as you like) *
 


It will take about couple of minutes
to be smooth and creamy



*1000 ml whole milk can make about 170g cream cheese

***Keep the cream cheese in an airtight container 
and store it in the fridge for 1 week, 
using it as soon as possible.
