Eggless Banana Brownies (vegan)

Eggless Banana Brownies

(vegan)

 

 

These Banana Brownies made without eggs,
they are very chocolatey, moist, fudgy and chewy.

 
Ingredients   

For 20*20cm cake pan

 

All-purpose flour 3/4 cup (100g)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 2/3 cup (55g)
Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar 1/2 cup (100g)
Vegetable oil    1/4 cup (60ml)   
Mashed bananas ⅔ cup (200g)
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips 2/3 cup (100g)

Line with parchment paper in the bottom

and the sides on the cake pan


Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F .

 

Mash banana with fork,set aside

 

 In a large bowl, 
sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt
all together,  and set aside


 In another bowl,
add vegetable oil, sugar , vanilla extract and mashed bananas
mix all together


 Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
and mix well until the batter is combined  
Fold in 2/3 chopped chocolate with a spatula
until just combined, don't over mix
 
 
Pour the batter into cake pan ,
using a spatula smooth out
Sprinkle rest of the chopped chocolate on top
 
Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 20-25minutes
until brownies well set and firm
and a skewer inserted in the center 
comes out with a few crumbs attached
Do not overbake
 
 

Allow cake to cool before removing from pan
 
 
Cut into 9 big squares,
or 16 small squares.
