Japanese Dango/
Mitarashi Dango


Japanese Dango/ Mitarashi Dango
is kind of Japanese sweet, it made by
Glutinous Rice Flour (Shiratamako)


 Ingredients

Sweet Soy Sauce

Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
Water 4 tablespoon
Sugar 3 tablespoon

Corn Starch 1 teaspoon
Water 1 teaspoon


Dumplings
(Dango) 

 Glutinous Rice Flour (Shiratamako) 180g
Water 150ml
Green Tea Powder 1 tablespoon
Bamboo Skewers 4


Optional

Sweet Red Bean Soup
 

All ingredients



Sweet Soy Sauce





 In the saucepan add soy sauce, water, sugar
Mix well until boil...
Add corn starch with water
Until the mixture become to thick




Sweet Soy Sauce is done


 Dumplings
(Dango) 
 


A small bowl add half of glutinous rice flour and water, 
and knead slowly until the dough becomes smooth  





A small bowl add another half of glutinous rice flour,
green tea powder and water, 
and knead slowly until the dough becomes smooth
 


 


Divide each dough into 11 small sized balls
 


Place dango into boiling water
Until dango float on the surface 







Put 4 pieces of dango into a bamboo skewer
Dripping sweet soy sauce on the dango
 

Rest of dango can put into sweet red bean soup

Sweet Red Bean Bread/ Anpan

Sweet bread with red bean paste
with 
Salt Pickled Cherry Blossoms
on top of bread

Ingredients

All-purpose flour 300g
Granulated sugar 30g
Salt 2g
Instant dry yeast 3g
Unsalted butter 30g
Egg 1
Milk 150ml
Red Bean Paste 300g
Salt Pickled Cherry Blossoms  4
 


All ingredients 




Add the yeast and one teaspoon of sugar to 
the warm milk and until the yeast activates.




Add the flour, sugar, salt and egg to the bowl 





And add milk with yeast to the bowl
Mix well and knead the dough until the dough 
is smooth and less sticky

 



Add butter into dough, and continue to knead the dough 
until the dough is smooth  







Cover with plastic wrap, and rest dough in a warm place 
until it’s doubled in size






Divide the dough into 8 equal portions




Roll out each dough into flatten  




and place about 2 tablespoon of the red bean paste






Then fold the dough into 3 folds and roll into flatten 
Then fold the dough into three folds, flatten the dough, and use a knife to draw three cuts in the middle of the dough

Twist the dough into a flower




Roll out the dough into round sharp and place 2 tablespoon of read bean paste in the center.Seal the sides by gathering the ends and shape it until it forms a ball, and cut 4 sides make is look like flowe

Cover with plastic wrap, and rest dough in a warm place 
about 40 minutes






Soaking Salt Pickled Sakura Cherry Blossoms in the water 
to remove excess salt about 30 minutes




Dry up salt pickled cherry blossoms on the kitchen paper




Brush them well with the egg wash  






 Place salt pickled cherry blossoms on the dough
Also can place some black sesame and green tea powder 
on the dough



Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes or 
until golden brown all over

Can using on many kind of desserts




Ingredients
Milk 300g
Sugar 60g
vanilla extract 1 tsp

Egg 1  
Flour 15g
Corn Starch 10g

Butter 20g

All ingredients





A small bowl add an egg,  flour , corn starch
And mix well 




In the saucepan add milk , sugar, vanilla extract  
Mix well until boil.... 




Hot milk add to small bowl mix well with egg, flour ,  
corn starch






Pour the entire mixture back into the pan





Until the mixture begins to thicken into

a pudding-like consistency.... 



Add butter and mix well



Cover a sheet of plastic wrap directly into the Pastry cream.

 In the fridge to cool and serve it
