Homemade Cinnamon Rolls


Homemade 
Cinnamon Rolls



 Very fluffy and soft cinnamon rolls
even next day is still soft
Good to serve warm or at room temperature



     Ingredients     
 For 20*20cm cake pan (9 rolls)

Instant dry yeast 3g
Milk  1/4 cup (50ml)
Sugar 1 teaspoon

Milk  1/2 cup (100ml)
Egg  1
Sugar  1/4 cup (30g)
Unsalted butter(Melted)  1/4 cup 30g
All-purpose flour  2 3/4 cup (350g) + 2 tablespoons
Salt 1/4 teaspoon

Filling
Brown sugar  1/3 cup (80g)
Unsalted butter(Melted)  1/4 cup (40g)
Cinnamon powder 2 tablespoons

Powdered Sugar Glaze
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup (60g)
Milk  1~1 1/2 tablespoon




Grease cake pan with butter, 
or line with parchment paper 
in the bottom and the sides of the cake pan


Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F .


 In a small bowl, 
add one teaspoon of sugar and yeast to the warm milk , 
let it rest for 10 minutes,until the yeast activates.

 

In another small bowl, 
add milk, egg, sugar,and melted butter mix well,
and then add yeast, mix all together



In another big bowl, mix flour and salt together
And then add wet ingredients into flour



Mix well and knead the dough
until the dough is smooth

 Cover with a plastic wrap
and ferment in a warm place for 1- 1 1/2 hours
or until it doubles in size.

 Filling

 In a small bowl , 
add brown sugar, cinnamon powder and melted butter, 
and mix together


 Roll out the dough into a rectangle
 Spread cinnamon mixture over the surface of the dough


 Start with long side to roll dough up tightly and seal edge
Cut roll into 9 slices. 


Place the rolls into the prepared baking pan

Cover with plastic wrap, 
and rest dough in a warm place for 40-60minutes, 
let rise until double in size.


Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 20-25 minutes
or until top is golden brown



Powdered Sugar Glaze

In a small bowl , 
mix powdered sugar and milk together, 
until the glaze is at the right consistency.

*you can use  heavy cream or lemon juice to instead milk*
 

Drizzle with the powdered sugar glaze 
over the tops of cinnamon rolls

Serve warm or at room temperature

Ham & Veg Muffins Made By Pancake Mix


Ham & Veg Muffins

Pancake Mix





Very easy and quick to make by pancake mix
with ham and vegetables

Can add your favorite 
ham, hotdog, cheese and vegetable

It's good for breakfast and serve warm

 
    Ingredients     
For 6 muffins

Pancake Mix  250g
Eggs  1
Milk 120ml
Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Diced ham 30g
Shredded ham 30g
Diced onion and green onion 50g
Mayonnaise few


Optional
Some of your favorite spices for top of cake batter


Diced ham, shredded ham and 
diced onion and green onion

  
Grease  cupcake pan with butter
 or place  liners in cupcake pan

Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F .


In a small bowl,  add egg, milk, salt, pepper and vegetable oil 
and mix all together


Add the wet ingredients into the pancake mix, 
and whisk together until combined


Fold in diced ham with a spatula until just combined, 
don't over mix


Filling cake batter into cupcake pan


Add mayonnaise into top of each cake batter
Place diced onion, green onion and shredded ham on each cake batter
**Add your favorite spices on top of cake batter**

Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 20-25 minutes
or until top is golden brown
and a skewer  inserted in the center comes out clean

 





Serve warm

Sweet Potato Cake


Sweet Potato 
Cake


 Simple ingredients and easy to make
Looks like pie but it's cake
very soft and moist cake
with full of sweet potato inside,
very delicious.

Can serve room temperature 
or after chilled in fridge
Different taste



    Ingredients      
For 9-inch round cake pan

Cake flour 120g (1 cup)
Baking powder  1 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Unsalted butter (room temperature) 100g  (1/2 cup)
Sugar 120g (2/3 cup)
Egg 2
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Plain yogurt 1/4 cup (70ml)
Sweet potato (peeled, cooked and mashed)  2/3 cup (130g)
Sweet potato (peeled, cubed and cooked)  1/3 cup (80g)

Optional
Sesame (white or black) 1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar 1 tablespoon
 



 Grease cake pan with butter, 
and line with parchment paper in the bottom 

Preheat oven to 180°C/ 350°F.

*Mashed  Sweet Potatoes*
Boil the sweet potato or steam until sweet potato is soft and then mash
Add one tablespoon of butter and one tablespoon of sugar
and mix well

*Cubed Sweet Potato*
Peel and cut the sweet potato into small cubes
 On the boil water add one tablespoon of sugar, 

cook sweet potato cubed until soft

Drain water

Mix the flour ,baking powder and salt together, 
and set aside


In a large bowl,  
whisk the butter and sugar with hand mixer 
on the high speed until pale and fluffy


Add eggs one by one at a time, 
whisk with hand mixer on medium speed 


Add vanilla extract and plain yogurt 


Add mashed sweet potato mix well


Add flour , and whisk with hand mixer on low speed  
until the cake batter is combined 


Pour the cake batter into cake pan, 
using a spatula smooth out 


Place sweet potato cubed on top of cake batter
Sprinkle  sesame over the top of cake 


Bake at 180°C / 350°F for  25-30minutes
until top is golden brown 
and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean


Place cake on a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes, 
then remove cake from pan
and place on a wire rack to cool completely


Sprinkle  powdered sugar over the top of cake 
( Optional )
