Brownies

 

Brownies 

 


These Brownies are 

very rich, fudgy and chewy.

 


  Ingredients   

For 20*20cm cake pan

 

Unsalted butter melted 1/2 cup (100g)
Sugar 1 cup (200g)
Egg 2
Vanilla extract 2 teaspoons
All-purpose flour 1/2 cup (70g)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup (45g)
Baking powder ¼ teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Chopped chocolate or  chocolate chips 2/3 cup (100g)

Line with parchment paper in the bottom
and the sides on the cake pan

 

Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F .


In a large bowl, add melted butter and sugar,
mix well
And then add vanilla extract, and mix together

 

Add eggs one by one at time, mix well

 

Sift in flour,baking powder, salt and cocoa powder
 
 
 
Mix well until the batter is combined 

 

Fold in 1/2 chopped chocolate with a spatula until just combined,
don't over mix

 

Pour the batter into cake pan ,
using a spatula smooth out
Sprinkle the top with the rest of the chopped chocolate 



Bake at 180°C / 350°F for  25-30minutes
until  brownies well set and firm
and a skewer inserted in the center
comes out with  a few crumbs attached
Do not overbake.

 

 Allow cake to cool before removing from pan

 

Cut into 9 big squares,
or 16 small squares.
