Apple Cake



Apple Cake



Full of apple on inside of cake
makes cake is super moist
And sprinkle full of cinnamon with brown sugar 

on the top of cake
Served warm or after chilled, different tastes


      Ingredients      
For 7-inch round cake pan


All-purpose flour 100g (3/4 cup)
Baking powder  1 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Unsalted butter  90g  (1/2 cup)(room temperature)
Sugar 100g (1/2 cup)
Egg 2
Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
Apple 2 (peeled, cored and chopped)
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon


Optional

Topping
Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon
Brown sugar 1 tablespoon
 



 Grease cake pan with butter,
and line with parchment paper in the bottom
Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F


 Apple peeled, cored and chopped. 
mix with lemon juice and set aside.


 Mix the flour ,baking powder and salt together, 
and set aside


 In a large bowl,  
whisk the butter and sugar with hand mixer 
on the high speed for about 2-3 minutes 
until pale and fluffy

  

Add egg one by one at time, 
And add vanilla extract
whisk with hand mixer on medium speed 



Add  flour ,  
and whisk with hand mixer on low speed  
until the cake batter is combined  



Add chopped apple, 
and using a spatula fold apple into the batter



Pour the cake batter into cake pan, 
using a spatula smooth out 

Optional
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon powder  together
Sprinkle  brown sugar and cinnamon powder  over the top of cake
 
 Bake at 180°C/350°F for  40-45minutes
until top is golden brown and crisp
and a skewer  inserted in the center comes out clean



 Place cake on a wire rack to cool for 5-10 minutes, 
then remove cake from pan, 
and place on a wire rack to cool
