Japanese Dango/
Mitarashi Dango


Japanese Dango/ Mitarashi Dango
is kind of Japanese sweet, it made by
Glutinous Rice Flour (Shiratamako)


 Ingredients

Sweet Soy Sauce

Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
Water 4 tablespoon
Sugar 3 tablespoon

Corn Starch 1 teaspoon
Water 1 teaspoon


Dumplings
(Dango) 

 Glutinous Rice Flour (Shiratamako) 180g
Water 150ml
Green Tea Powder 1 tablespoon
Bamboo Skewers 4


Optional

Sweet Red Bean Soup
 

All ingredients



Sweet Soy Sauce





 In the saucepan add soy sauce, water, sugar
Mix well until boil...
Add corn starch with water
Until the mixture become to thick




Sweet Soy Sauce is done


 Dumplings
(Dango) 
 


A small bowl add half of glutinous rice flour and water, 
and knead slowly until the dough becomes smooth  





A small bowl add another half of glutinous rice flour,
green tea powder and water, 
and knead slowly until the dough becomes smooth
 


 


Divide each dough into 11 small sized balls
 


Place dango into boiling water
Until dango float on the surface 







Put 4 pieces of dango into a bamboo skewer
Dripping sweet soy sauce on the dango
 

Rest of dango can put into sweet red bean soup
